Crash Claims Life Of Ripley Woman
A 31-year-old Ripley woman was killed and three other people were injured in a two vehicle head-on crash late Thursday in the town of Hanover.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on Route 39.
According to the New York State Police, a westbound 2015 Subaru crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 1992 Honda.
The driver of the Subaru, 24-year-old Milly A. Garcia of Gowanda, was transported to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Miranda M. Farley, the operator of the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the Honda, a 31-year-old Westfield woman and a 42-year-old Portland man, were transported to ECMC with life-threatening injuries.
In a news release, the State Police said its Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in the investigation, which remains ongoing.
