City Man Facing Several Child Sex Abuse Charges
A 22-year-old Jamestown man is facing a host of felony charges related to the alleged abuse of three minors.
Jamestown police on Thursday announced the arrest of Devien A. Denson on numerous warrants.
In a news release, the department said it had received “reports alleging the sexual abuse of three minor children.” A subsequent investigation by the department’s Juvenile Detective Bureau concluded that Denson allegedly committed “several criminal acts of a sexual nature against three juvenile victims.” Denson was being held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
He faces three counts each of use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting a sexual performance of a child and endangering the welfare of a child, as well as two counts of third-degree criminal sexual act and one count of third-degree rape.
In August 2022, Denson was charged by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office; an investigation found that Denson allegedly sent obscene images to a minor on social media between July and August in 2022.
At the time, he was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree disseminating indecent material to minors.
