Chautauqua County musicians are joining forces for a benefit to help St. Susan Center in Jamestown.

The second annual Fill (Stuff) the Truck Party will be held at The House That Jack Built in Greenhurst from noon-5 p.m. Nov. 5. Event attendees are asked to bring non-perishable foods as a donation to fill a large box truck to assist St. Susan Center.

The event's creators, Kaila and Jackie Harrison, owners of The House That Jack Built, and veteran area musician Jeff "Jeffro" White are excited to try and top last year's poundage of food donated total.

In 2022, the event raised more than 680 pounds of food for St. Susan's Center; this year, the Harrisons have committed to bring in more than 750 pounds of donated food items.

This year's event has a lineup of area musicians, including Stan Barton, Warren Sischo, Claud Schucker and Joel Matherly, and the Geezers.

Food and beverages will be provided by The Best of Buffalo by Bryron food truck with a selection of many of area favorites, including wings and beef-on-weck, with a portion of all sales being donated to the center. Moreover, The House That Jack Built has also agreed to the same.

"We're looking forward to hosting this event again this year," said Kaila Harrison from The House That Jack Built. "We're very grateful to the musicians, sponsors and the Best of Buffalo by Bryron food truck for making this year's Fill the Truck Party better than ever."
