K-9 deputy Jason Beichner gave a presentation to Harmony Senior Citizens on the K-9 Unit from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department during the group's Aug. 3 meeting. He talked about where the dogs were purchased, how much they cost, how they were trained, how they are cared for and what happens to the dogs once they retire. Beichner also talked about his history and why he wanted to be a K-9 handler. Beichner is pictured with K-9 Drake.
