Second Little Free Library Added In Panama

PANAMA -- The village of Panama has added a second Little Free Library to the village.
The newest addition is located on the Panama Central School playground and is dedicated to Linda Scotty; a beloved wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Family, friends, and staff gathered together the last day of school for the official dedication ceremony.
"Linda recognized the power of literature and the transformative effect it can have on young minds," organizers said in a news release. "This vision would not have become a reality without the support and generosity of the faculty and staff of Panama Central School. Their contributions and dedication to the cause of education have made this library possible."
Linda's Little Free Library offers books for adults and children. Both libraries are registered with the nonprofit organization, Little Free Library, and are added to the Google map on their website, which pinpoints little libraries all over the world. Anyone who passes is encouraged to "take a book or leave a book." No library card is needed and books do not have to be returned.
