A home in Chautauqua Institution was sold for millions of dollars.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from the first two weeks of January.

During that time period, 84 North Lake LLC of Cleveland, Ohio sold 84 North Lake Drive, Chautauqua Institution, town of Chautauqua to Mollie Baker Merchant for $2.4 million. This is described as a four bedroom, four bath, 3,478 square foot residence.

In the city of Jamestown, a building with multiple businesses in the downtown area was sold.

4th and Pine Development, LLC of Jamestown sold 9-25 East 4th St. to Jamestown Office Reality LLC, Jamestown Hakimian LLC and Jamestown Nitzani LLC of Great Neck, NY for $800,000. This is the 4th and Pine Professional Building, with multiple businesses in it, including Nouveau Salon and Day Spa, Express Employment Professionals, law offices, and more.

From Jan. 3-13, there were 10 sales that were $250,000 or higher.

The remaining eight sales were as follows:

¯ Allegany-Erie Inc. of Dunkirk sold 211 West Point Ave., Dunkirk to West Grove Road, LLC of Oradell, NJ for $2.4 million. This is a vacant warehouse. It had been advertised on line as a “well maintained 104,000 sq ft. warehouse/distribution asset, continually operated by one tenant for 18 years” on a 13.9 acre lot “with capacity for building expansion.”

¯ 1876 Big Tree Road, Busti sold for $725,000.

¯ 84 Bennett Enterprise Inc. of Fredonia sold 10749 Bennett Road, Dunkirk to Recovery Real Estate Holdings LLC of Colchester, Vermont for $650,000. The sale includes two parcels. This is the former Grossman’s Bargain Outlet which closed several years ago. A sign for Green Mountain Electric Supply is now on the new building. Recovery Real Estate Holdings LLC also owns a Green Mountain Electric Supply location in Jamestown.

¯ 78387 Clymer Center Road, Clymer sold for $350,000.

¯ 26 S. Terrace Ave., Chautauqua Institution, Chautauqua town sold for $331,000.

¯ 16 and 18 Front St., Silver Creek sold for $322,000.

¯ 5588 South Ave., Van Buren Point, town of Portland, sold to for $292,000.

¯ 5 parcels on Rt. 20, Portland were sold to Agriamerica LLC of Silver Creek for $280,000.
