Get ready for the semifinals at Chautauqua's Got Talent.
Spire Theater Artistic Director and Producer Angelo Valentino said as the competition progresses, the judges and audience members are continually impressed by the level of talent on display.
"I think with being the semifinals that only ten of them will get to move on to the finale. The semifinalists will be raising the bar yet again," Valentino said.
Valentino said three will be eliminated from the event on Monday. Audience members have to vote for other contestants as well as contestants of whom they may be related.
"The way the voting system works is that we do our very best to have a people's choice contest without being just a popularity contest," Valentino added.

Pre-sale tickets for Chautauqua's Got Talent are available at InSpirejamestown.com. Tickets will also be available on the day of the show at the Spire Theater box office. These are family-friendly events, and all ages are welcome to attend. The ultimate winner will take home the grand prize of $1,000, a $100 gift certificate to The Fish, and the opportunity to be the preshow spotlight performer for the Donna The Buffalo Concert at The Spire Theatre, 317 E. Third St., on Nov. 4.
