The annual Memorial Day Remembrance was held at Fentonville U.M. Church. The program included Skip Trumbull, Civil War reenactor, dressed in authentic uniform representing the medical profession. Several articles used in caring for wounded soldiers were on display. His wife, Doris, was dressed in period-correct woman’s attire. Music was provided by Mike Becker, Sheila Lemon and John Shaughnesy. A parade of marchers and representatives of the Samuel Derby Post were escorted by town of Carroll police, motorcycles and the Frewsburg Fire Department to the Fentonville Cemetery for a flag-raising, gun salute and TAPS. Pastor Deborah Westcott closed the ceremony with prayer.
