A south county grocery store and nearby restaurant are now owned by a limited liability company, although no change in operations have taken place.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions between Nov. 16-30.

During that time period, Timothy Mead, president of R.J. Mead, Inc. and Sandra Mead sold 666 Route 62, Poland, to CH Ventures Kennedy LLC of Niagara Falls for $980,000. They also sold 650 Route Route 394, Poland, to the same company for $380,000.

At 666 Route 62 is the ShurFine Kennedy Supermarket. The sale includes all the parcels between Church Street and Dailey Hill Road, including The Office Restaurant and one multi-family structure.

The website kennedysupermarket.com notes no changes of operations at either the grocery store or The Office Restaurant, which are on the same site.

During this time period, there were a few smaller business sales as well.

Richard Ecklof sold 525 Foote Ave., Jamestown to S&T of WNY Inc., of Jamestown for $249,900. That is the address of Cricket Wireless in Jamestown.

Robbin Hill Mobile Park LLC of Frewsburg sold 584 Warren Road and Austin Hill Lot to JPK Holdings, LLC of Toms River, NJ for $230,000. According to the Chautauqua County GIS site, there are 13 mobile homes on the property.

Bone Creek LLC of Mayville sold 106 and 108 East Main St., Sherman to JSRP LLC of Fredonia for $160,000. This is the location of the former Main Street Diner and some apartments.

A trustee with the Barbara Riccio Revocable Living Trust sold 6344 Hartfield-Centralia Road, Chautauqua to BRK Property Holdings, LLC of Mayville for $89,000. This is the location of Olde Corner Deli.

Including the two sales mentioned earlier, there were 21 sales from Nov. 16-30 that were $250,000 or higher. Four of the sales were in the town of Poland, three were in both the towns of Busti (one in the village of Lakewood) and Ellery, two were in each of the towns of Chautauqua (one in the Institution), Pomfret (one in the village of Fredonia), and Ellicott, and one sale in each of the towns of Charlotte, North Harmony, Kiantone, Clymer and Westfield.
