Vikings Host Annual Easter Youth Party
More than 100 children attended the annual Vikings Easter Youth Party at Viking Lake Park. After being greeted by the Easter Bunny, each participant was given a bag containing a craft, a cookie and decorating ingredients. Babies were given specially prepared bags that included a book, toy, and appropriate treat of food. About 1,000 plastic eggs containing candy were scattered about the grounds. In each of the age groups, one of the plastic eggs contained a “golden coin.” The Viking House Committee presented each age-group winner with special baskets with an assortment of candy and a $10 monetary prize. House Committee member, Bonnie Magers, is pictured with winners Soraya Kyser, Sofia Gioreano and Otto Rohlin.
