A Russell woman is behind bars in the wake of what investigators call one of the county’s largest drug seizures.

The multi-agency raid occurred on Friday at 5 N. Main St. in Russell.

Detectives with the Warren County Drug Task Force say a search warrant was executed “after (a) year and a half long investigation into the sale of methamphetamine.”

The results of the search? The seizure of approximately 21 pounds of methamphetamine which detectives say carries a street value of over $80,000.

Detectives arrested Maelynne L. McCall, 19, and she faces charges of possession with intent to deliver and endangering welfare of children, according to online court records.

She was arraigned Saturday morning and was placed in the county jail after she was unable to post bail set at $1,000,000.

In addition to Task Force agents, a series of state and federal agencies were involved in the investigation including the Office of Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigations and Drug Control’s Erie office, the Warren County District Attorney’s office as well as federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
