City Man Found With Drugs During Stop Faces Charges
A city man who police say was in possession of drugs during a traffic stop is facing several charges.
In a news release, the Jamestown Police Department said officers stopped a vehicle at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the area of Colfax Street.
Michael A. Barringer, a passenger in the vehicle, was reportedly found with 34.4 grams of fentanyl, 24.1 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of suboxone and more than $1,000.
The 46-year-old is facing charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
