Summer Concert Series Kicks Off Tuesday

CHERRY CREEK — The Cherry Creek Summer Gazebo Concert Series begins the 2022 season on Tuesday.

The concert, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude by 8:30 p.m., will take place in the pavilion of the ballpark on Main Street rain or shine. The featured group for the inaugural concert of the season will be “Paul Zittel and Pure Country.”

Well known and popular with concert attendees, Zittel and the group have entertained hundreds with their style of country music, which includes everything from traditional country standards to current popular favorites.

This season’s series is entitled “Family Night Out,” and that is just what is planned for the upcoming season: family style entertainment. Supper-type refreshments will be available, and those planning to attend are reminded to bring their own lawn chair.

The project is sponsored by the Cherry Creek Community Association Inc., and made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.

The program is also supported by area businesses, the Town of Cherry Creek and community members
