The long-awaited return of Chautauqua’s Got Talent is finally here after being forced to shut down mid-season in 2020.
Performing artists took the stage at The Spire Theater for auditions to earn a spot to compete in the 12th annual “Chautauqua’s Got Talent” contest.
Prior contestants from the canceled season were invited to return along with new contestants. Former season 11 contestants that did not register and are interested in participating should contact the production team as soon as possible to see if arrangements can be made to add them to the roster for season 12.
Chautauqua’s Got Talent, presented by InSpire Jamestown in conjunction with The Post-Journal, 106.9KISS FM, and MegaSound is set to begin Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m. for the first night of the five-night series.
The 12th season of Chautauqua’s Got Talent at The Spire Theater will see 24 qualifying contestants with a diverse group of performers entertaining a voting audience for five Mondays in a row. Each contestant will perform to earn the audience vote to advance to the next round of the competition. The following 24 contestants, in no particular order, have been chosen to showcase their talents in the audience selected competition: Trenton Shutters, Aly Dalton, Holly Bless, Jolee Schultz, Annabelle and Adalyn Martin, Isaac Sinatra, Jake Anderson, Miranda Wilcox, Dewayne Moore, William Whitehill, Monica Buck, Owen Thompson, Kayla Walker, Maria Battaglia, Marcus Graham, Larsen family band, Gary F. Mooney, Siennah Bowles, Derek Davis and Angel Busch, Colin Moore, Thee Ukaladz, Jonathan Siggins, Michael Correy, Elizabeth Park.
The contest runs for five weeks at The Spire Theater in Jamestown, Mondays at 7 p.m. beginning April 25. Tickets are $12 pre-sale at www.inspirejamestown.com or $15 at the door. A season’s pass to all five nights may be purchased for $50. Concessions will be available. The audience is given a unique code as their ticket to electronically vote for their favorite performers at the culmination of the show each night. Chautauqua’s Got Talent is also on Facebook.
The Spire Theater is located at 317 E. Third St., Jamestown. For more information on this year’s “Chautauqua’s Got Talent” competition, find The Spire Theater or Chautauqua’s Got Talent on Facebook.
