Members of the Falconer Volunteer Fire Department assisted the grounds department this month at Lake View Cemetery with the installation of a new 160-foot long flag pole cable on Veteran’s Grove. The cable, which secures an American flag to an 80-foot-tall flag pole, snapped last month, necessitating its replacement. The Lake View Cemetery Association Board of Trustees and its staff thanked the Falconer volunteers for the help.
