A fire reported on the porch of a city property was quickly knocked down Tuesday morning. Jamestown firefighters were alerted to the fire, near the corner of South Main Street and Newland Avenue, shortly before 11 a.m. The small fire was reported to be out not long after crews arrived. No injuries were reported.
