Bush, Bestar Adopt New Brand Name

A new corporate brand name has been adopted by two furniture companies with more than 135 years of experience.

On Monday, Quebec’s Bestar, who acquired Bush Industries Inc. at the beginning of 2020, announced its new corporate brand, eSolutions Furniture Group. The business will sell residential and commercial furniture on the international market.

“The fusion of each company’s strengths and expertise gives us the opportunity to take the entire organization even further,” said Mike Evans, eSolutions Furniture Group president and CEO. “We now have a unique opportunity to become a leader in North America and transform the industry by providing an unparalleled online experience, from initial consumer purchase, delivery, to the enjoyment of their furniture. We make it easy, fast and affordable.”

eSolutions Furniture Group will serve as the parent company which will continue to manufacture it’s fine Bestar, Bush Furniture, Bush Business Furniture and Kathy Ireland branded products.

“The acquisition has allowed us to expand our capacity for new products, manufacturing and delivery capabilities,” said Mark Weppner, executive vice president of marketing and product design. “The creation of eSolutions Furniture Group now opens up new opportunities for us to innovate and offer our customers a wider range of products and categories.”

The company’s corporate headquarters is in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, with manufacturing facilities in Lac-Megantic and Sherbrooke, Canada; U.S. operations and manufacturing based in Jamestown, Erie, Pa., Reno, Nev., Sacramento, Calif.; and in Asia. The product range includes commercial and residential office furniture, seating and filing, as well as solutions for living, bathroom, bedroom, upholstery and storage.

The group’s furniture is sold online through major e-commerce retailers, office supply superstores and contract commercial markets.

Bestar was founded in Quebec 73 years ago, focusing on assembling quality handcrafted furniture, such as coffee tables, solid wood rocking chairs and bookstands. The brand has evolved a lot over the years and today offers a growing variety of office, home and bedroom furniture, always with an emphasis on sustainability and thoughtful modern design.

Bush is a leading manufacturer and distributor of casegoods and ready-to-assemble furniture for the commercial and residential office and home market. The 62-year-old brand has built its reputation on providing easy, fast and affordable solutions.
