The Chautauqua Connections Children’s Coalition has worked with various organizations since the beginning of the pandemic in providing PPE for schools, child cares and various children’s organizations in the county. Items collected and distributed have been hand sanitizer and face masks for children and adults. Since March the group has collaborated with PJ Wendell and Chautauqua County, a home-grown organization called the Mask Makers of WNY and Cummins Inc. To date the organizations have provided over 21,000 face masks to these organizations in Chautauqua County.
