Retired Couple Supports UPMC Chautauqua Employees

For Dan and Linda Johnson, starting a scholarship for other employees, after proudly working for the same hospital for a combined 82 years, was their planned next step upon retirement -- fulfilling a mutual life passion.
Giving back with this fund is a symbolic way for them to continue their service to the hospital they love.
During WCA Foundation's Donation Days -- Gratitude and Giving Campaign, friends, family and former co-workers may now support the Johnsons joyful action with a gift to their fund at WCA Foundation. Dan Johnson, retired as a physical therapist, and Director of Rehabilitation Services at UPMC Chautauqua, and his wife Linda, retired in the role of Senior Manager, Regional Communications for UPMC. This fall, Linda surprised her husband by creating the Daniel A. Johnson Scholarship Fund.
Establishing the fund through the WCA Foundation allows the Johnsons a vehicle for not only themselves, but colleagues, friends and family to honor their work and support the employees of UPMC Chautauqua who serve this community every day, year after year.
