Quickly Doused

City Fire Department Handles Barrett Avenue Blaze

Members of the Jamestown Fire Department quickly doused a structural fire at a Barrett Avenue residence on Sunday evening. Battalion Chief Cris Dahlgren told The Post-Journal that the fire was seen coming from the second floor and that no occupants of the house were present at the time of the fire. The occupants’ pets, however, were lost in the blaze.
