Coldspring Town Board Holds Sept. Meeting

COLDSPRING — The Coldspring Town Board met Sept. 10.

Supervisor Tina Hyde called the public meeting to order at 7 p.m. and members present included David Chapman, Wendell Craig Anderson and Timothy Plaskett.

Minutes of the Aug. 13 meeting was presented to the town board to read and sign. The town clerk will place all individually signed copies with the original minutes. The minutes were approved by the board members as presented to them.

Vouchers audited and approved:

¯ A motion was made by Plaskett to accept the vouchers as presented. The motion was seconded by David Chapman and carried.

¯ Gabriel Giddy will continue as animal control officer through December but will resign as of Jan. 1, 2021. A new animal control officer is needed.

¯ Cattaraugus County recommended passing a local law regarding Solar Energy. Superviso Hyde will check on what other towns have for a local law and contact STW. The discussion was tabled until the next meeting.

With no further business, Chapman moved that the board adjourn at 7:58 pm.

The town board will next meet Oct. 1, as well as Nov. 5 and Dec. 3.
