‘Group Effort’

Southwestern Students Receive Meals From District

Almost 150 students at Southwestern Central School are receiving meals from the district as schools throughout the country have closed due to the coronavirus.

“This is a group effort from all involved from the buildings getting us names,” said John C. Spacht, Southwestern transportation supervisor. “The cafeteria staff working diligently not only making the meals but also making sure that dietary needs are still being met and the transportation staff making sure we get the meals delivered to the houses.”

Instructional materials have also been delivered to district students.
