Head-On Crash Injures 4 People In Randolph
RANDOLPH — A head-on crash in the village of Randolph sent both drivers to UPMC Hamot for treatment of serious injuries.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office said the crash between a 2008 Jeep Compass and 1991 Chevrolet van took place Sunday at 12:19 a.m. on Main Street in Randolph.
An investigation found that the Jeep crossed the center line and struck the van head-on. Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were transported to the Erie, Pa., hospital, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Two passengers in the van were taken to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
No further information was made available. Charges are pending, the Sheriff’s Office said.
