Police Investigating Saturday Stabbing
One person is in stable condition after being stabbed early Saturday in Jamestown.
Officers and city firefighters were called to the area of 320 Newland Ave. for a reported stabbing victim. The victim, reported to be a 27-year-old, was taken by ambulance to UPMC Chautauqua and later flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
The victim was in stable condition Saturday, police told The Post-Journal.
The incident, believed to be captured on nearby video, was the result of a fight. A suspect is still being sought.
