Trick-or-treating hours have been announced for cities, towns and villages throughout Chautauqua County. Many municipalities will also be hosting events to coincide with the holiday.

The following hours are for Thursday, Oct. 31, unless otherwise noted:

¯ BROCTON — Trick-or-treating from 5:30-8 p.m. There will be activities at the fire hall from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be a parade from the fire hall at 5 p.m.

¯ CASSADAGA — Trick-or-treating hours will be 5-7 p.m. followed by a parade at the fire hall.

¯ CELORON — Trick-or-treating hours from 6-8 p.m.

¯ ELLINGTON — Trick-or-treating hours from 5-7 p.m. A party and costume parade will follow at the fire hall starting at 7 p.m.

¯ FALCONER — The village will hold trick-or-treating hours from 5:30-8 p.m. with a Halloween party at the fire hall. The party is sponsored by Falconer Community for Our Youth. The Falconer Fire Department will also be holding a Trunk-or-Treat event from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

¯ FINDLEY LAKE — Findley Lake will hold trick-or-treating hours from 5-7 p.m.

¯ FREWSBURG — Frewsburg will hold trick-or-treating hours from 6-8 p.m.

¯ GERRY — Trick-or-treating hours in Gerry will be from 5-7 p.m. with the annual costume judging contest at 7 p.m. at the Gerry Fire Hall.

¯ LAKEWOOD — The village will hold trick-or-treating hours from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

¯ MAYVILLE — The village will hold trick-or-treating hours from 6-8 p.m.

¯ ASHVILLE — Trick-or-treat hours are 5-7 p.m.

¯ PANAMA — Trick-or-treating hours in the village of Panama will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

¯ KENNEDY — Town trick-or-treating hours will be from 5-7 p.m. The town recreation committee will also sponsor a Halloween party at 6:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Fire Hall. Refreshments and games will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Costume judging will begin at 7:30 p.m.

¯ RIPLEY — Ripley will hold trick-or-treating hours from 6-8 p.m. The Ripley Library will be holding a Halloween Party and costume contest in the library on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The PTA will host a Trunk-or-Treat from 6-7 p.m.

¯ SHERMAN — Sherman will hold trick-or-treating hours from 5-7 p.m.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Sinclairville will hold trick-or-treating hours from 5-7 p.m. A Halloween party will follow at 7 p.m. at the Sinclairville fire hall.

¯ WESTFIELD — Halloween will be celebrated from 6-8 p.m. in the village. The Halloween Spooky Kids parade starts at 5:45 p.m. in front of Tops. Cider and donuts to follow at the fire hall and is sponsored by the Westfield Rotary Club.
