A Lakewood man was killed in a crash early Monday in Warren County, Pennsylvania State Police based in Corry, Pa., reported.

Police said Chad W. Thompson, 35, was driving a 2006 Honda Civic south on Paige Hollow Road — a half-mile from Bull Hill Road — when he left the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof.

The crash took place at about 6:30 a.m.

Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

Page Hollow Road was closed in both directions for about two hours while an investigation took place. Assisting at the scene were volunteer firefighters from Wrightsville, Youngsville, and Garland in Pennsylvania.
