FCS To Perform ‘The Addams Family’

FALCONER — Falconer Central School will present its the musical comedy “The Addams Family” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Falconer High School auditorium, 2 East Ave., Falconer.

Tickets are $8 and are available at the high school office or at the door. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The show is based on characters created by Charles Addams and the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Eice. Music and lyrics are by Andrew Lippa.

“The Addams Family” picks up the story of the family when Wednesday is 18 and ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family.

Wednesday invites the Beineke family to dine with the Addams family — an evening that proves to be a fateful, hilarious night where secrets are disclosed and relationships tested.

In the end, the Addams family has to face the one thing they have managed to avoid for generations — change.
