Sheet Piling Placed At Jamestown Brewing Company

Sheet piling is placed into the ground next to the future site of the Jamestown Brewing Company. The materials will provide excavation support for a Brownfield Cleanup project for hazardous soil beneath the parking lot. The former site of a dry cleaning business caused cleaning solvents to seep into the ground. Crews will dig 20 feet into the ground and remove the soil, which will be disposed of in two different landfills. The brewery is still slated to open in January 2019. The approximately $500,000 cleanup will occur in December.
