A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital following a crash with a car Wednesday afternoon. Jamestown police said the motorcyclist, who wasn’t immediately identified, suffered rib injuries after colliding with the rear of a sedan. The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on East Second Street, near Thayer Street. The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to UPMC Chautauqua WCA. Jamestown police were assisted Wednesday by city firefighters and ALSTAR EMS. No further information was available.
