A Jamestown man was jailed Tuesday after drugs and several guns were found during a search of his Baker Street apartment.
Charged was 33-year-old Michael A. Davis after a search warrant was executed around 2:25 p.m. at 25 Baker St. by members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force with the help of the city SWAT Team.
The search was the result of an “ongoing investigation into the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown area,” Jamestown police said Tuesday in a press release.
In the apartment, police reportedly found crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, along with two hand guns and five long guns.
Davis was taken into custody and charged with several counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. The city man was also allegedly wanted on two outstanding bench warrants.
