Falconer Woman Charged Under Leandra’s Law
A 48-year-old Falconer woman was charged Sunday with felony driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign in the village of Falconer around 8:30 p.m. The driver, Karen Webster, was found to be in an intoxicated condition. Two children under the age of 16 were also discovered inside the vehicle.
Webster faces additional charges of driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child and failure to stop at a stop sign. She was arraigned in the town of Ellicott court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
