A Falconer man was charged Tuesday after allegedly stealing a handgun from a local residence. According to Ellicott police, 22-year-old Aaron A. Johnson was located a few blocks away from the incident location and reportedly found in possession of the weapon. Johnson was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of a firearm. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
