‘Ashes To Go’ Provided In Randolph
Father Thomas Broad and Eucharistic Minister Sandy Dailey of the Randolph Episcopal Church took to the streets of Randolph on Ash Wednesday offering “Ashes to Go” at Triangle Park. People on foot and driving by stopped to receive the imposition of ashes, which is a rite to remind people of their mortality and thus the necessity for repentance. Shown is Cathy Congdon, of Randolph, receiving the imposition of ashes from Father Broad in observance of Ash Wednesday.
