RANDOLPH — Randolph Central School will host its fifth annual “Holiday Arts and Crafts Show” on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event takes place in both high school gymnasiums at Randolph Central School, located at 18 Main St.
Co-sponsored by the Randolph Art Guild and Student Council, this is the biggest year of the event, to date. With more than 60 vendors, including 21 new vendors, holiday shoppers will find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts at the show.
Gifts available include many handmade items such as wreaths, flower arrangements, cutting boards, candles, wood bowls, primitive decor, alpaca products, jewelry, wood signs, soaps, oils, gourmet mustards, stained glass, paintings, soup mixes, jams and jellies, handbags, “Upcycled” items, scarves, teas, holiday dÈcor, quilts and hand-sewn items, Beanies, homemade natural and organic body products, kitchen tools, rugs, towels, table runners, driftwood items, slate paintings, and much more. Some local retail vendors will also be offering clothing, makeup, cleaning supplies and Randolph apparel — all of which organizers say would make excellent Christmas gifts.
“This show has grown into something beyond our imagination,” said organizer Crystal Walters. “When we started out, we wanted to put on a great event with some really good vendors. We never thought we would get the caliber of crafters we have, or that we would fill both gyms and hallways to capacity.”
The senior class will have a full concession stand open throughout the day offering a number of food items including homemade goulash, soup and chili as well as subs, walking tacos, pizza and loaded nachos.
Each person entering the arts and crafts show will be automatically entered for a chance to win the $300 door prize.
