A woman was sent to WCA Hospital on Monday following a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Fairmount and Butts avenues.

It is alleged that a PT Cruiser was traveling eastbound on Fairmount Avenue when it rear-ended an SUV at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Charges are pending an investigation into the cause of the accident.

The woman-whose name was not released-was transported to WCA Hospital for apparent not life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
