DMV administrator to get salary increase

MAYVILLE – A member of the Department of Motor Vehicles is getting a salary increase, but not all county officials support the move. During the Chautauqua County Legislature meeting, lawmakers approved a resolution to reallocate the salary grade for the motor vehicles administrator from grade 14 to grade 17 by a 12-5 vote. The step level of the administrator was not announced. According to the CSEA 6300 Salary Schedule, a Grade 14 Step 3 employee receives $25.91 an hour.
