The village of Westfield has been awarded $4.5 million by the state for its Downtown Revitalization Initiative. The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon by Gov. Kathy Hochul. Sherman Woman Charged With Arson

SHERMAN – A Sherman woman was arrested following a fire Sunday night. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, around 10:40 p.m. a structure fire occurred around 10:40 p.m. Scanner reports indicate it was to a barn on Bailey Hill Road. Deputies allege that 21-year-old Susan Hostetler intentionally set the fire following a dispute. She was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment and was charged with third-degree arson and second-degree criminal mischief in the 2nd degree. She will appear in the Town of Sherman court at a later date.

A Jamestown woman could face 10 years in prison and a maximum of life after an indictment to a narcotics conspiracy. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Friday a federal grand jury is charging Latika Saintkitts a/k/a Tika, 34. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua A. Violanti and Louis A. Testani, who are handling the case, stated that according to the indictment, between 2018, and May 26, 2022, Saintkitts conspired with Joseph S.
