A Jamestown woman has been sentenced after being convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 40 grams or more of fentanyl. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that Holly Berenguer, 43, was sentenced to time serve and four years’ supervised release by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. A Kiantone woman is facing charges after allegedly losing her temper at a Jamestown business. Jamestown police report Racheal L. Waldron, 32, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, DWI, two counts of felony aggravated DWI Leandra's Law and second-degree harassment after an incident at 11:05 p.m. Sunday. Inmate Charged In Assault On County Jail Officer

An inmate has been charged after an investigation into a physical altercation on an employee with the Chautauqua County Jail. The Criminal Investigation Division of Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department determined that Lawrence A. Gibbons, 48, of Jamestown, struck a correction officer in the face and jaw. Gibbons was charged with second-degree assault and appeared for the Centralized Arraignment Process.
