Two Charged After Wednesday Raid On Eighth Street
Two Jamestown residents face drug charges after a raid on West Eighth Street on Wednesday.
At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, members of the of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 218 W. Eighth St. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Katiria Cruz-Torres, 39, of Jamestown was allegedly seen leaving the residence in a vehicle and was pulled over by Jamestown police officers and detained. She was allegedly found in possession of 4.1 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of cocaine, 5.8 grams of fentanyl and $454 cash. Detectives and Investigators then entered the Eighth Street address and found Cesar L. Santiago, 48, and an adult female. After the residence was secured, detectives and investigators searched it and reportedly found a small quantity of crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging material and cutting agents.
Cruz-Torres was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Santiago was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Both Cruz-Torres and Santiago were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
