Two Charged With Drug Possession After Passing Out In Vehicle
Two Jamestown residents face charges after being found passed out in a vehicle at an intersection on Jamestown’s east side on Sunday.
Jamestown police officers responded to a check the wellbeing call at 5 p.m. Sunday on the East side of the city for a report of two individuals passed out in a vehicle at an intersection. Officers arrived on scene and were able to identify the individuals as Christopher J. Light, the operator of the vehicle, and Aimee L. Hogg.
Hogg and Light were allegedly both in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, fentanyl and plastic knuckles. It was further found that Light was allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs. Light was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, driving while ability impaired and traffic infractions. Hogg was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Both were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.
Light and Hogg were charged after a traffic stop in late February 2025 on Foote and Prather avenues led to drugs being found in the vehicle. Officers report seeing drug paraphernalia in plain view inside of the vehicle and, during a search of the vehicle, allegedly found fentanyl inside of the vehicle. Light of Jamestown with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was also found with fentanyl and cocaine when police searched him while Hogg was charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
