A Jamestown man faces charges after a drug seizure Tuesday.

According to officials, at about 12:09 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 313 Prather St., upper apartment.

Devonte Green, 26, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest.

According to officials, Green, who had a New York State Parole arrest warrant, was observed leaving the residence in a vehicle just prior to the search warrant being executed.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department attempted to conduct a vehicle stop on Green. Green continued for a short distance in the vehicle before he was placed in custody after a short foot pursuit.

Officials said as a result of the search of the residence, the vehicle and Devonte’s person, investigators seized 2.3 grams of fentanyl and 4.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and $131.

Green was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and will be Jamestown City Court Court later.
