Three Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop In City

Three Jamestown residents are facing drug charges after a traffic stop early Friday.

Around midnight, officers of the Jamestown Police Department’s observed a moving violation on the south east side of the city. Through an investigation it was found that Taylor S. Hernandez, 31, was in possession of 67.9 grams of Methamphetamine and 42.7 grams of Fentanyl. It was also discovered that Bradley M. McKay, 31, was in possession of 40 grams of Methamphetamine and a quantity of Fentanyl.

The operator of the vehicle, Zachary C. Clark, 57, was found to be in possession of 10 grams of Methamphetamine.

Each subject was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where they were held pending arraignment. Hernandez was charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled Substance. McKay was charged with two counts of third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Clark was charged with third-degree criminal Possession of a controlled substance and was issued two traffic citations.
