Second-Floor Blaze Quelled By City Firefighters
Jamestown firefighters extinguished a blaze on the second floor of a 208 Charles St. residence.
Upon arrival around 12:43 a.m. Friday, crews observed fire in second floor windows with smoke venting from the eves and attic.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire after locating the blaze. No occupants or victims were located by firefighters at the scene.
Jamestown Police Department assisted with traffic control and Alstar stood by at the scene.
Firefighters were back in service by 5 a.m.
