A Jamestown woman has been sentenced in the theft of mail.
U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Friday that Anita D. Miller, 42, who was convicted of theft of mail by a postal employee and delay of mail by a postal employee, is to serve three years’ probation and 100 community service by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

In addition, on two occasions in March 2022, Miller delayed delivery of mailed envelopes.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General, under the direction of Matthew Modafferi, Special Agent-in-Charge Northeast Field Office.
