A Jamestown man is facing drug charges following a search warrant being executed on Thursday morning.

After several months of investigating narcotics activity in the city at 12 E. Hamilton St., investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department charged Bryan Torres, 31.

Prior to the warrant, investigators had observed Torres leaving the residence. He was stopped on West Fifth Street and detained.

As a result of the search at the residence, investigators seized 11.4 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $2,327. Torres was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Jamestown Police Department to be arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court.
