Three Charged After Cocaine, Meth Found In Raid

One Jamestown resident and two Buffalo residents are facing charges after a raid on Palmer Street in the city on Thursday afternoon.

At about 4:10 p.m. members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 516 Palmer St. in the Upper Apartment after an investigation into the sale of various narcotics. The Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team made entry into the apartment and located Jamal M. Jackson, 33, who attempted to escape out of a second story window, Krystafur J. Bowman, 30, and Jamarr A. Cunningham, 30, both of Buffalo, inside.

A search of the apartment resulted in the seizure of approximately 136.1 grams of cocaine, 15.9 grams of crack cocaine, 291.5 grams of fentanyl, 485.3 grams of methamphetamine, a glass bowl for cooking the drugs, plastic baggies for packaging the drugs, digital scales for weighing the drugs, and a quantity of United States Currency believed to be proceeds from selling the drugs.

All three were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. All three were charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. All three individuals are convicted felons and were arraigned in front of the Honorable John Lamancuso Jr. in the Jamestown City Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, and Jamestown Fire Department.
