A Sunday morning fire destroyed a house at 8996 Park Road in Cassadaga. Numerous agencies responded to the blaze, that was called in around 5:45 a.m. Those fire departments include: Sunset Bay, Sheridan, Emergency Services, Cassadaga, East Dunkirk, Silver Creek, Stockton, Forestville and Sinclairville. The individual in the house was sleeping on the couch when the fire began. Those on the scene said the blaze could have been connected to a heater.
