CHERRY CREEK — A 75-year-old man has been charged with second-degree rape of a juvenile

On Tuesday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division announced it conducted an investigation regarding a report of sexual misconduct involving a youth on Nov. 4.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Robert K. Braymiller of Cherry Creek, allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile victim.

Braymiller was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Program (CAP) proceedings.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says it remains committed to the protection of children and the prosecution of those who attempt to victimize them.
