GERRY – A Stockton man is facing child pornography charges.

In 2024, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division initiated an investigation into the promotion and possession of internet based child pornography in the town of Gerry.

Through a lengthy investigation, Investigators identified 46-year-old Timothy Napoleon Sr. as the person allegedly responsible for these crimes. He was later located and his devices were seized.

Through further investigation, investigators said they located a quantity of images portraying obscene sexual performances being performed by children.

On Thursday, Napoleon surrendered himself at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and was taken into custody by investigators. He was charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

Napoleon was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. He will answer for his charges in the Chautauqua County Supreme Court.
