Numerous rescue vehicles and law-enforcement officials were at the scene of a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the town of Mina off Route 430. The victim apparently had a gunshot wound to the hand. According to scanner reports, around 4:15 p.m. a call came in for an officer down with a suspect shot in the hand. Chautauqua County Emergency Medical Services and departments from Clymer, Sherman and Findley Lake responded to the call. More information will be released when it is known.
